Copy-editing.   I will edit for grammar and syntax, sentence clarity, consistency, and paragraph and dialogue formatting. If you like, I can also give you a short written evaluation of the manuscript, suggesting other assistance you may want to consider. Fee: $0.05 per word. 

Line-editing papers and articles. In addition to copy-editing, I will reorganize the information in your manuscript, if necessary, and ask questions where I see gaps in the logic or the possibility of adding useful information. This type of editing is the kind you would receive from an editor at a significant publication. Fee: I will quote you a fee for the entire manuscript upon receipt.

In-depth manuscript evaluation. I will evaluate the manuscript as a whole and provide  chapter-by-chapter feedback. I will highlight examples of strengths and weaknesses, and suggest specific ways that you can improve the writing and the way the information is presented. Fee: $0.02 per word.

Coaching. We can also communicate online, by Skype or in person in New York. Fee: $75 to $125, hourly.
